The GoFundMe account that was set up by Damar Hamlin has received an incredible amount of traffic after his injury last night.
Many professional athletes and NFL fans alike have contributed to this cause, with one person sticking out in particular.

Longtime NFL quarterback Andy Dalton has generously donated to Hamlin’s cause in his honor.
Although this GoFundMe has reached greater heights, this is oddly reminiscent of an act by Buffalo Bills fans in 2017.
In the final game of the 2017 regular season, Dalton led the Cincinnati Bengals to a win over the Baltimore Ravens.
While this win didn’t necessarily mean anything for the Bengals, it meant a lot to the Bills, as they were vaulted into the playoffs due to the Ravens’ loss.
To pay back Dalton for their playoff berth, over 17,000 Bills fans came together, donating more than $400,000 to Dalton’s charity organization.
The Andy and JJ Dalton Foundation serves to assist physically impaired children and their families both in Cincinnati and Fort Worth areas.
This flurry of donations helped the Dalton family launch a program called the Pass It On Fund, which raises money for families who need medical equipment.
Ever since this happened, Bills fans have eagerly jumped on the charitable bandwagon, coming together to support good causes such as the Andy and JJ Dalton Foundation.
When Damar Hamlin was injured last night, the Bills Mafia, along with much of the world, was the first to donate in droves in Hamlin’s honor.
Although the world can seem cruel and dark at times, this makes the world of difference.
