The Chicago Bulls weren’t the most consistent team in the league last season.
They let a big lead slip right through their fingers and missed the chance to make the playoffs, and that seemed to be the case night in and night out in the Windy City.
However, as much as they struggled to take care of business last season, Andre Drummond still has faith in this core of players.
That’s why he confirmed on the I AM ATHLETE podcast that he’s not going to opt out with that player option and will be back in Chicago for at least another season.

The 12-year veteran claimed that he’s enjoyed his life in Chicago and he loves it out there, staying that he definitely will be there next year.
He talked about all the injuries the Bulls have had to go through, obviously referring to Lonzo Ball and all the uncertainty about his career and Zach LaVine coming off a knee injury.
This will be a key season for the Bulls.
They have to figure out what to do with Nikola Vucevic and will have to find ways to add more talent to their roster, given the fact that they don’t have a first-round draft pick.
All things considered, they look far away in terms of contention.
But every time you have an All-Star caliber duo, you have a chance to do something great, and that’s exactly what Arturas Karnisovas and Billy Donovan seem to be striving for at this time.
