The Miami Heat have now won their first game in the NBA Finals and evened the series.
However, they are still considered underdogs to win the championship.
Analyst Craig Carton was speaking about Miami’s chances to win it all and stated that a Finals victory by this team would be a huge feat and the franchise’s most stunning accomplishment yet.
“If they do pull off this amazing upset and beat the Denver Nuggets, of the four titles that the Miami Heat would have as a franchise, this would by far be the most impressive one,” Carton said on his show.

The Heat currently have three championship trophies but this would definitely be one the least amount of people saw coming.
As noted by Carton, if they won the Finals this year, they would have beaten the best team in the West as well as the two best teams in their own conference during the playoffs.
They will have done all of this as an eighth seed, by the way.
The Heat’s rise to the top has been one of the most remarkable comebacks in recent NBA history.
Just months ago, many people assumed they’d be pushed out of the first round of the playoffs if they even made it that far.
Instead, they secured a spot in the postseason and overpowered two behemoth teams, as well as the upstart New York Knicks.
They have been on a roll for weeks now.
Some people thought all of that would come to an end against the Nuggets but they have again shown there is a lot of fight left in them.
If they can outperform expectations once again, it really will be something for the history books.
