The New York Jets’ Super Bowl aspirations took a massive blow on Monday night.
Watching Aaron Rodgers being carted off the field made the fans feel like their season was already going down the drain.
However, they still managed to rally behind their defense, special teams, their running game, and a spectacular catch by Garrett Wilson to get a huge win over the Buffalo Bills.
That’s why David Jacoby doesn’t believe their season is over just yet.
In his latest appearance on The Carton Show, the renowned pundit pointed out the fact that even without Rodgers, this Jets team is significantly better than it was last year.
"It is dramatically worse, but it is not over.”

Granted that Zach Wilson has struggled and their offensive line still has question marks, they will still get Mehki Becton back at some point.
Their defense is only getting better, and Jacoby points out that they have a much-improved wide receiver room around Garrett Wilson, with the likes of Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman also on the team.
Also, adding Dalvin Cook next to Breece Hall gives them an elite running back tandem.
Obviously, the ‘Super Bowl or bust’ mindset is no longer there, because it would be unrealistic to think that Zach Wilson can lead this team the say way Aaron Rodgers could.
But counting them out could be a huge mistake, and this Jets team has proved that win or lose, they’ll look to compete as hard as ever on every single snap, and that can also take a team a long way.NEXT: Analyst Says 2 Jets Figures Can Redeem Themselves This Season
