The Golden State Warriors suffered an unfortunate step back on Wednesday night, as superstar Draymond Green was ejected from a game against the Orlando Magic after receiving two technical fouls for arguing with the refs.
After weeks of playing it cool and remaining more level-headed than ever before, Green showed flashes of his former self and it wasn’t a great look.
On Thursday morning, Jay Williams said that some people are now questioning the leadership of Stephen Curry because of Green’s actions.
According to a video shared by NBACentral, Williams told his co-hosts on ESPN that “high-level” people are wondering why Curry isn’t able to control Green and keep him in check.

Williams and everyone else agree that Green is the only person ultimately responsible for his actions.
He is the one who chooses to speak out and step over the line and no one else has the ability to really control him.
At the same time, Curry is the leader in Golden State and there will be individuals who doubt his leadership abilities if Green continues to act out.
Curry and the rest of the Warriors have been put in uncomfortable situations again and again because of Green.
Throughout it all, they have usually been supportive of their friend and teammate and haven’t openly criticized his actions.
That changed several months ago when he was smacked with a lengthy suspension after hitting Jusuf Nurkic during a game.
At that time, head coach Steve Kerr and others shared their displeasure with Green for his choices.
Should more be said when he acts out?
Would Curry’s leadership be questioned if he came out and clearly stated unhappiness with Green?
Would that be a way to control him and limit incidents like this?
How can he remain a supportive friend and teammate while also leading his team and preventing more problems?
It was Green who messed up on Wednesday night but Curry was the one facing some criticism on Thursday morning.
