The New York Jets and Dalvin Cook have been tangled up for quite a while now.
The former Minnesota Vikings star running back visited the team’s facilities, and even head coach Robert Saleh raved about how good things were.
Aaron Rodgers also hinted at the possibility of bringing in guys like Cook, which is why analyst Craig Carton believes there’s nothing to be worried about right now, even if he hasn’t signed with them yet.
Should the Jets be worried Dalvin Cook hasn't signed yet?
"Aaron Rodgers isn't going to continually talk about acquiring guys like Dalvin Cook if he didn't have inside information that Dalvin was going to be a Jet."

The Jets are a prime free-agent destination right now.
Cook also reportedly had interest from the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, and New England Patriots, but he’d be in a better position to win a ring with the Jets.
He admittedly said that his next destination is likely in the AFC East, and even though training camp is already underway, he seems in no rush to make a decision.
Cook is one of the best running backs in the league, and he’s coming off four straight seasons rushing for over 1,000 yards.
Having him side-by-side with Breece Hall would give Nathaniel Hackett two prime weapons to build his running game around, not to mention another elite resource for a team that’s already looking scary.
Of course, paper doesn’t win Super Bowls, and we still need to see how all these pieces fit together, which is why Jets fans might be desperate to get Cook in full pads.
But it seems like it’s a matter of when he’ll sign and not if he’ll sign.
