The Jacksonville Jaguars couldn’t afford to lose Monday night’s game vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, especially considering Joe Burrow wasn’t on the field.
Now, with Trevor Lawrence’s status for Sunday up in the air, the situation has only gotten more complicated in Florida.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton believes it’s officially time to panic in Jacksonville.
In the latest edition of The Carton Show, Carton explained how a loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday could lead to them being tied for the first time in the AFC South Division.
Is it time for the Jacksonville Jaguars to panic? 🤔

The Houston Texans would have to beat the New York Jets, and they’re currently 5.5-point favorites and will face a team without a starting quarterback, so a win seems quite feasible at this moment.
The game vs. the Browns is going to be a major toss-up.
Neither team knows who’s going to be behind center, as Lawrence suffered a high ankle sprain and, according to reports, will need to do much better to be ready to play on Sunday.
As for the Browns, they have to make a decision between fifth-round rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson or Joe Flacco, who showed glimpses of great play but committed a crucial turnover in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
The AFC playoff picture is as tight as it’ll ever be, and while a lot of that has to do with crucial injuries, that doesn’t make it any less exciting.
That’s why the Jaguars need to be at their best if they don’t want their once-promising campaign to go down the drain right before their eyes.
