The Detroit Lions were one of the most improved teams in the NFL last season.
And with the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers entering rebuild mode, they should be in a prime position to dominate the NFC North.
However, and as good as they’ve looked recently, former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky believes they could look at taking another quarterback at the No. 6 position in the upcoming NFL Draft.
ESPN's @DanOrlovsky7 thinks the Lions are a top NFC contender — but he also thinks drafting a quarterback at no. 6 overall should be "on the table."

Orlovsky made a case for the Lions still being set at QB for the foreseeable future with Jared Goff but added that they could still look to improve and get better for the future with any of the elite prospects in this class.
There’s no denying that grabbing Anthony Richardson or even Will Levis at that spot if they’re available could be an interesting move for Dan Campbell’s side, as they both have sky-high upside and could benefit from a year or two on the sidelines.
Goff has had two solid years and a bounce-back season after some struggles with the Los Angeles Rams.
He might never live up to the hype and expectations that come with being the No. 1 pick in the draft, but he was much better than expected in that new environment.
The Lions have put together quite a decent set of young players and look to compete at the highest level for years to come.
So, even if they’re comfortable with Goff and have been supportive of him in the past, nothing should be off the table for them come April 27.NEXT: The Lions Are Dealing With A Serious Internal Problem
