The Dallas Cowboys didn’t look that competitive in their loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Even if the final score wasn’t as lopsided, Mike McCarthy’s team showed the same issue all season long.
That’s why Emmanuel Acho believes their season is a wrap already.
Talking on Monday’s edition of The Facility, the former NFL player called out the Cowboys for being a “broken record.”

He believes that they keep showing the same problems, particularly their inability to run the football or to stop the run.
He adds that this team had the very same issues heading into the offseason.
So, if they couldn’t beat this version of the Niners, then they’re not going to beat them at their best, either.
Acho argued that the Cowboys’ goal was to reach the NFC Championship Game at the very least, and that doesn’t seem to be possible at this moment.
Notably, this isn’t particularly surprising.
The front office stood pat instead of trying to get some reinforcements in the offseason, so it didn’t make a lot of sense to expect anything different from them.
Mike Zimmer, as great a defensive coach as he is, has a history of struggling against the run as well, and Mike McCarthy has often been singled out by being outcoached by his opposition.
The Cowboys need to change a lot of things to get back to contention.
Whether Jerry Jones and his regime will make the decisions that need to be made could be a whole different story.
