Through two weeks of the 2023 NFL season, the Los Angeles Rams have proven to be much more competitive than people predicted.
The Rams are coming off a loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, but they were neck and neck with them for most of the afternoon before falling behind in the fourth quarter.
Matthew Stafford looks much more like himself after spending the offseason getting healthier, while young receivers like Tutu Atwell and Puka Nacua have stepped up in Cooper Kupp’s absence.
At 1-1, Los Angeles looks the part of a Wild Card team so far and they could continue to prove doubters wrong when they take on a reeling Cincinnati Bengals team on Monday Night Football in Week 3.
The Bengals have yet to win a game this season and are dealing with a tough loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Cincinnati doesn’t look like the AFC contender most pegged them to be and people like Craig Carton are already calling for their season as he predicted a Los Angeles win via The Carton Show.
“The Cincinnati Bengals season comes to an end on Sunday. Everyone’s sleeping on the Rams,” Carton said.

There aren’t many teams in NFL history that have started a season 0-3 and went on to make the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl.
A loss on MNF would cause panic in the Bengals organization and their prospects of winning don’t look too great considering Joe Burrow re-aggravated his calf against the Ravens.
The Rams have got a certain edge and chip on their shoulder and they could very well make a statement on the road this coming week.
