The Chicago Bears didn’t look sharp in another primetime game.
Caleb Williams and the offense struggled against Brian Flores’ defense from start to finish.
However, they just can’t get it going regardless of who’s on the other side of the field.
That’s why NFL analyst John Middlekauff has finally had it with them.
Middlekauff didn’t mince his words on the Bears in the latest edition of his “3 & Out” podcast.
He called them “a joke,” adding that Caleb Williams looks “atrocious and overmanned.”

He believes the team has no choice but to pray that this situation is similar to what happened with Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams before they hired Sean McVay.
Nevertheless, given their history of mismanagement and bad decisions, he just doesn’t trust the Bears to hire the right person to turn things around.
Middlekauff argued that Kyle Shanahan, who some people believe could be a trade candidate for this team, would rather quit football before actually working for the Bears.
Chicago hasn’t won a single game since that Hail Mary from Jayden Daniels, dropping eight games in a row.
Williams doesn’t look anything like a No. 1 pick.
Then again, it’s not like he was put in a position to succeed.
The Bears have almost all the right pieces they need, roster-wise.
They just have to revamp the entire offensive line and ensure that whoever they hire is the right guy to develop their franchise quarterback, which sounds easier said than done.
