The Philadelphia Eagles were eight-point favorites ahead of their matchup with the 1-4 (now 1-5) Cleveland Browns.
They were coming off a bye week, would play at home, and would get their two star wide receivers back.
They managed to win the game, but they struggled to establish their dominance and only beat them by four.
Upon further review, former NFL player Emmanuel Acho believes there’s an identity issue with the team.
The Eagles have all the talent in the world on offense, but absolutely no identity.
Taking a shot to AJ Brown vs. man coverage can’t be your identity, but that’s the only thing the Eagles do consistently.
What was discussed during the bye week?! This makes no sense.

Acho took to X to wonder what the team discussed during the bye week, as they didn’t make many adjustments.
He claimed that throwing the ball to AJ Brown in man coverage, which is the only thing they consistently do, isn’t an identity.
Nick Sirianni entered the season on the hot seat, and things haven’t changed that much so far.
After the win, he called out and mocked Eagles fans who chanted he should get fired earlier in the game, and that wasn’t a good look at all.
There seem to be plenty of coaching and character-related issues there, and some believe he’s lost his locker room and isn’t on the same page with Jalen Hurts.
Just like Acho said in his post, the Eagles have some very talented players on offense.
They also have a bright offensive mind in Kellen Moore.
Even so, they’re not playing up to their potential, and with their schedule getting slightly tougher in the next month or so, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them being a .500 or sub-.500 team by the midpoint of the season.
