It’s been a long while since the New York Giants were one of the powerhouses in the NFC.
Nonetheless, the first year under HC Brian Daboll was quite encouraging, and the front office seems ready to ride with him for years to come.
That’s why NFL Network analyst Shaun O’Hara believes they can actually go against every single team on any given night.
"They are not the sexiest team on paper… But the belief and the culture that Brian Daboll has brought to that team in the locker room… They feel like they can compete with anybody and here's the 1 reason why… they don’t turn the ball over."

O’Hara knows they’re not one of the teams to watch by any means, but they still managed to beat the odds more often than not, winning games most people thought they should’ve lost and even getting one playoff win.
Moreover, he lauded Daboll for the culture he’s instilled within the locker room, mostly because they now feel like they’re never out of any game.
Last but not least, he praised their ability to take care of the football, which is obviously a must for winning football teams.
Daniel Jones was quite turnover-prone during the early stages of his career, so watching him take better care of the ball and limit turnovers was one of the many reasons why he had the best season of his career to date.
The Giants made a huge financial investment to keep him on board for years to come, and even though some people believe they overpaid for his services, he’s still young, and Daboll seems determined to bring the best out of him.
The Giants might not be a clear-cut contender, but they’re most definitely much better than some people think they are.
