After bursting on the scene as a viable option to replace superstar Aaron Rodgers as the new starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, Jordan Love became a household name and led the iconic franchise to the NFL playoffs last year while also pulling off a first-round upset over the Dallas Cowboys on the road.
With Love proving to be a star on the rise in the NFL last season, the Packers decided to sign him to a lucrative long-term contract extension before the 2024 campaign got underway, setting up his future with the team.
Throughout the 2024 season thus far, Love has had his fair share of struggles, from battling injuries to dealing with problems turning the ball over with his interceptions.
In the loss to the division-rival Detroit Lions in Week 9, Love clearly wasn’t himself as he was playing through a groin injury and threw his 10th interception of the season, which Adam Schein of Mad Dog Sports Radio criticized.

After Week 9’s performance against the Lions, Love is tied with Geno Smith of the Seattle Seahawks for the league lead for interceptions, which obviously isn’t ideal for the starting quarterback of a team with Super Bowl aspirations.
Many of Love’s issues at the moment have to do with not being healthy this season, from his knee injury earlier in the year to now, dealing with a groin injury, which can be tough to get right when playing through it.
Fortunately for Green Bay, the team is sporting a 6-3 record and will be in the playoff picture in the NFC if they can keep playing at a high level moving forward.
