Things were supposed to be different for the New York Jets this year.
Many expected them to get out of their playoff drought, which now stands at more than a decade.
The Jets have had a strong defense for a few years, and they have several strong pieces on both sides of the ball.
For whatever reason, they’ve been unable to put it all together, which has resulted in widespread frustration, both from fans and analysts.
While it takes more than one person to make or break a football team, Jon ‘Stugotz’ Weiner believes there is one person to blame.
“Aaron’s not playing well. They haven’t scored 30 points. It’s not enough and I blame it all on him. I don’t care. It’s not Saleh, it’s not the defense. It is Aaron Rodgers,” Weiner said via the LeBatard Show.

Weiner believes that the Jets’ problems can all be pinned on Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers was expected to be the missing link this team was looking for, a veteran quarterback who could help out the younger players on the team.
His on-field output hasn’t reflected that, and even after bringing in Davante Adams, the Jets’ offense hasn’t looked as potent as anticipated.
Now, the Jets find themselves in a difficult situation when considering the 2025 season and beyond.
They can try to part ways with Rodgers in the offseason if they believe he’s the problem, or, they can ride with Rodgers for one more year, adding even more pieces to try to make this team work.
