As expected, the New York Jets are already making headlines for questionable choices by the team, and the season hasn’t even come close to starting yet.
With the Jets getting some serious buzz after finally acquiring superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers, it comes as a surprise that the team recently canceled mandatory minicamp.
The decision has some waves and has stolen some headlines on Tuesday, with many left scratching their heads, which doesn’t look good for the coaching staff in New York.
With so many new faces in New York and Super Bowl aspirations moving forward, the expectation was that this new-look squad would want every second it could get on the field to prepare for an important 2023 NFL season.

Everything the Jets do or don’t do will be blown out of proportion with Rodgers now the leader under center in New York, as the team will get a ton of wanted and unwanted attention moving forward.
However, this decision is a bit perplexing as this team needs every moment it can possibly get on the football field in order to put the pieces together and be ready for the incredibly high expectations heading into the 2023 campaign in the coming months.
Only time will tell if this proves costly to the Jets and everything the team is trying to accomplish during the upcoming season.NEXT: Keyshawn Johnson Details The Pressure The Jets Offense May Face In 2023
