The New York Giants were one of the NFL’s biggest surprises last season, as they won six of their first seven games, made the playoffs, and upset the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card round.
This season, the challenge will be to build on that unexpected success.
The Giants are facing a bit of uncertainty right now, as the future of running back Saquon Barkley with them is in quite a bit of doubt after he couldn’t come to terms with management on a new contract.
They also have a quarterback in Daniel Jones who hasn’t developed much as a passer, and analyst Craig Carton feels he doesn’t have what it takes to become a true franchise quarterback.
Will Daniel Jones be a Top 10 QB this year? ?

Jones improved his accuracy from 64.3 percent in 2021 to 67.2 percent last season, but he threw for just 3,205 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2022.
Some Giants fans feel his numbers are low because the team lacks any real threats at wide receiver.
This year, the team will have Darren Waller, a man who has surpassed the 1,100-yard mark on two occasions.
But he is a tight end, and for most teams, counting on a tight end to be the most productive playmaker is problematic.
Last season, New York’s most productive wide receiver was Darius Slayton, who had all of 724 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Jones was recently given a large contract extension worth $160 million over four years, and now the pressure is on him to live up to it while helping the Giants return to the NFL’s mountaintop.
