With the start of the NBA playoffs just around the corner, it’s officially time to make predictions about what’s going to happen.
We have a big-enough sample size to make some conclusions and assumptions, and even if some teams still need to get healthy ahead of the postseason, they should still find a way to get the job done with what they have on their hands.
With that in mind, sports analyst Craig Carton predicted that the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks would meet in the Eastern Conference Finals.
More than that, he believes the Knicks have a legitimate chance of upsetting the Celtics and getting back to the NBA Finals for the first time in quite a while.
Talking on The Carton Show, he pointed out the fact that for the first time in years, this Knicks team has been completely ruthless and hasn’t taken it’s foot off the gas when leading a game.
“It’s gonna be a Celtics-Knicks Eastern Conference Finals,” Carton said.

On top of that, they just got a prime reinforcement back in Mitchell Robinson, who spent most of the season on the shelf with an injury.
The Knicks still need to get star power forward Julius Randle back, and there have been conflicting reports about his recovery and whether he’ll be back at all.
Then again, with OG Anunoby and Robinson anchoring Tom Thibodeau’s elite defense, Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart playing hard on both ends, and Jalen Brunson leading the offense, the Knicks should be a force to reckon with in a seven-game series, regardless of the opponent.
