Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was recently interviewed by the New York Times and had some interesting things to say that have sent shockwaves throughout the NBA because it seems he’s considering a future away from the team that drafted him.
Antetokounmpo is as loyal as any superstar in the league, but it seems like he is starting to read the writing on the wall that the Bucks might be headed in the wrong direction, and if that happens, he wants to get ahead of it rather than being stuck in a losing situation.
The Bucks have officially been put on notice due to Antetokounmpo’s recent comments, which means there could be some fireworks in Milwaukee next season if the team starts to struggle ahead of the NBA trade deadline in February.
As usual, the Los Angeles Lakers have been named a potential destination for Antetokounmpo, as have the New York Knicks, as they are in the two biggest markets and could show interest in the perennial All-Star.
Keyshawn Johnson of “Undisputed” recently talked about Antetokounmpo and why the Lakers might go after the two-time NBA MVP.
Giannis, the future Laker? @keyshawn says yes 👀

Johnson talks about the allure of the Lakers franchise and how when the team targets a superstar, they usually end up getting them, with so many coming through the organization over the years.
The only question now is how things unfold for the Lakers and the Bucks next season and how that impacts Antetokounmpo’s future moving forward, as both teams could be in for some drastic changes in the near future.
