It’s an exciting time to be a New York Knicks fan, and that’s not something that has happened very often.
Not so long ago, the fans were urging James Dolan to sell the team and put them out of their misery.
Now, they’re thriving under new management, with Leon Rose calling the shots.
That’s why sports analyst — and well-known Knicks fan — Craig Carton tipped his hat to the organization.
In the latest edition of The Carton Show, he stated that this was the kind of thing that happens when you hire competent people and actually allow them to do their jobs.

Rose has done an outstanding job of putting this team together.
He’s found the right pieces, has gotten deals done, and has doubled down on coach Tom Thibodeau, who was on the hot seat at one point.
The Knicks were one big piece away from being a legitimate NBA championship contender, and they may have gotten that piece with Mikal Bridges.
While not a superstar, his fit is almost perfect on this team, not to mention his unmatched chemistry with Villanova co-stars Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, and Josh Hart.
The Knicks have plenty of depth, and keeping OG Anunoby around for the long run was also huge for them.
Now, Rose will have to decide whether to keep Julius Randle or flip his big contract into another big-time player.
Whatever the case, the present and future seem bright in New York, and this was a long time coming for the fans.
