Kirk Cousins’ NFL career has been somewhat of a roller coaster.
He received mixed reviews during his time as Washington’s quarterback, which led to him signing with the Minnesota Vikings.
Cousins’ time in Minnesota has also been filled with mixed reviews.
Some have believed that his on-field play has not been enough to bring the Vikings to a significant playoff run.
For as much as Cousins’ on-field performances have been judged and analyzed, his off-field character seems to be sparkly-clean.
Cousins’ character is regarded highly across the league, which was recently highlighted by Peter Schrager.
Schrager called out Cousins’ latest charitable effort, where he was seen serving food to families in need.
Cousins truly is the real deal. Has been same guy since he first hit the scene with Washington. Happy the Netflix show got to showcase that a bit this summer. Speedy recovery, Kirk! https://t.co/BTwc0WiCCH

Cousins was willing to help these people, even though he is coming off a recent Achilles injury.
Schrager called out the fact that Cousins’ character hasn’t changed since he entered the league.
His time in Washington was equally regarded, and his traits and core values haven’t changed throughout his time in the NFL, something Schrager seems to greatly respect.
Cousins’ life outside of football was heavily documented in Netflix’s “Quarterback” documentary.
For NFL fans who didn’t know much about Cousins, this was a great opportunity to see what kind of person he is, both on and off the field.
After an injury of this magnitude, some athletes might have retreated to their homes, wallowing in the fact they cannot play again this year.
Cousins has not done that thus far, a major reason for the amount of praise he has gotten lately.
