Did Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields criticize his coaches through his response in a recent press conference?
Fields mentioned that “coaching” is causing him to overthink on the field.
Bally Sports’ The Rally co-host Joshua Perry doesn’t believe Fields is creating a rift between him and his coaches.
“I think that these two guys may not be on the same page about how Justin Fields needs to be coached,” Perry shared with Russell Dorsey and Brooke Fletcher.

Perry dissected Fields’ comment by saying that information overload might be the culprit to Fields’ overthinking.
Some coaches tend to be micromanagers by ensuring that players see every detail of each snap.
However, as a former linebacker, Perry shared that he only needs a few details to know what’s happening.
Perhaps being bombarded with pointers and observations isn’t how Fields wants to be coached.
But while absorbing enormous amounts of data is challenging, it’s a necessary aspect of his improvement as an NFL quarterback.
For now, he is a highly athletic QB who can rely on his mobility to escape tough situations.
But he will have to rely on this knowledge and experience once his legs start to slow down.
Quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko and offensive coordinator Luke Getsy need to find a compromise on how the coaching should be done.
