The AFC North has gone through a lot of change lately.
Over the past ten years, the division has been dominated by the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.
Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals have had something to say about that, winning it the last two years.
Many believed the Bengals were front-runners to win the division for a third straight season, but their losing ways to start the year might have diminished their chances.
The AFC North has been largely dominated by the Ravens to begin the year, who hold a commanding 7-2 record.
This caused Bill Barnwell to call the Ravens the “scariest team in the National Football League.”

He believes that they are not only the AFC North’s best team, but they should be scary to the rest of the teams across the league.
In Barnwell’s eyes, the Ravens are a scary team for a few reasons.
He pointed out their margin of victory, which is currently the highest in the NFL.
The Ravens have recently put together a string of blowout wins, including their latest 37-3 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
This impressive start to the year has surprised many analysts, causing them to change their tune about the division as a whole.
Lamar Jackson has worked himself back into MVP discussions for the first time since he won the award in 2019.
When he is healthy, as Barnwell mentions, the Ravens are a tough team to beat.
Paired with their league-best defense that averages less than 14 points per game, the Ravens might be the scariest team after all.
