The Kansas City Chiefs have been the most dominant team in the NFL over the past five years.
Not only have they won the Super Bowl in three of those seasons, but they’ve made it to the AFC Championship in all five years as well.
The Chiefs have been the top dog in the AFC thanks to Patrick Mahomes and the team the front office has built up.
It has been tough for other teams to take them down, as they now have a plethora of playoff experience and an understanding of how to win at the highest level.
While they haven’t shown any signs of slowing down, there is one team that might be able to take them down, at least according to James Jones via ‘Speak’ on FS1.
Jones mentioned that the Cincinnati Bengals are a threat to them, saying, “They are nowhere near scared of the Kansas City Chiefs.”

The Bengals have proven to have the Chiefs’ number, at least when Joe Burrow has been fully healthy.
Burrow struggled to stay on the field in 2023, but in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, he and the Bengals outplayed the Chiefs in their matchups.
They beat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship three seasons ago, and they nearly took them down two years ago.
With this in mind, the Bengals could pose a severe threat to the Chiefs this year, assuming their best players, including Burrow, stay healthy all season.
