As the NBA regular season comes to a close, more and more people think that the Denver Nuggets could be on their way to another championship.
That being said, there is a lot of competition in the Western Conference that could get in their way.
NBA analyst Kevin O’Connor thinks that the Phoenix Suns might be the ones to prevent Nikola Jokic and his team from going all the way to the Finals again.
O’Connor said that the Suns have the ability to get red-hot very quickly and that no amount of defense can slow them down when that happens.

Right now, the Suns are the sixth seed in the West with a 38-27 record.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets are the second seed and incredibly close to taking the top spot from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
However, that doesn’t mean that the Suns don’t have a chance of taking them down.
After all, the Miami Heat hardly made the playoffs last year and they eventually went all the way to the Finals.
O’Connor is absolutely right when he says the Suns can get very hot from all over the court and are seemingly impossible to shut down no matter how good the defense is.
That is exactly what the front office had in mind when they added Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal to the lineup alongside Devin Booker.
Grayson Allen is also helping the team shoot so well and he’s yet another headache to a number of opponents.
They have the scoring power but do they have the size?
That is a legitimate question and perhaps the biggest challenge for the Suns.
They might be great at scoring, but they still aren’t as big as Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Jokic, and other big men in the West.
That and their history of injuries could ultimately be their largest hindrances as they aim to reach the Finals.
