The Kansas City Chiefs pulled off a gutsy move.
Instead of trying to fix their woes at left tackle with any of the players they had for that position, they moved their All-Pro guard, Joe Thuney, to that position.
Needless to say, it takes a lot of courage to do so.
That’s why former guard Mark Schlereth believes they’re currently the best-coached team in all of football.
Talking on ‘Breakfast Ball,’ he claimed that it was a genius move by Andy Reid.

Blindside protection has been the biggest flaw the Chiefs have struggled with during the Patrick Mahomes era, including this season.
Wanya Morris and Kingsley Suamataia looked over their heads and unprepared this season, and neither of them might have a future on the team.
D.J. Humphries is up in age and banged up, so Reid had to make a business decision.
Desperate situations call for desperate measures.
But as crazy as it might seem, that one move may have saved the Chiefs’ season.
Their offense has looked better with Thuney there, and they need to protect their best player at all costs.
The Chiefs want to win their third consecutive Super Bowl and become the first team in NFL history to do so, and with Patrick Mahomes getting more time and room to operate, that sounds like a strong possibility.
