There has been a lot of talk about the 2023 Philadelphia Eagles.
Some believe that they’re not as good as they were last season and that their 4-0 record is kind of fluky.
Just like what happened with the Minnesota Vikings last season, some analysts don’t buy the record and actually read into how the teams got their wins and which teams they beat.
Nonetheless, NFL analyst Peter Schrager actually believes they’re legit.
In the latest edition of “Good Morning Football,” Schrager stated that a win is a win, and the fact that the Eagles lost their top two coordinators and are still 4-0 to start the season speaks volumes of where they are as a team.
"September is one of those months where you figure out who you are and what makes you different from years prior. If you can do that after losing 2 coordinators and 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 be 4-0, I think you take that." @PSchrags on the Eagles pic.twitter.com/k0ZsBfznQN

Schrager states that September is the month when teams figure out where they are because of all the changes that they go through in the offseason, and the Eagles should feel quite well about themselves right now.
The Eagles lost offensive coordinator Shane Steichen to the Indianapolis Colts job, and defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon to the Arizona Cardinals.
And while their offense is yet to fire on all cylinders, their defense picked up things right where they left them last season.
Of course, winning big matters, but outside of their game vs. the Washington Commanders, they’ve covered the spread and have dominated the pace and tempo of the game every single time.
On top of that, divisional games are always tough, and they managed to beat a rival that beat them last season, and that’s also worth noting.
