When Trey Lance fell to injury early in the 2022 NFL Season, things looked bleak for the San Francisco 49ers.
Jimmy Garoppolo stepped in nicely for Lance until he fell with a season-ending injury.
When all hope appeared lost for the franchise, Brock Purdy came out of nowhere, and the rest is history.
Purdy has changed this organization’s tone and led them to an impressive standing within the NFC again this season.
A trustworthy quarterback is among the most paramount pieces to an NFL roster.
Brian Baldinger recently spoke about Purdy’s brilliance thus far in a conversation with the radio station 95.7 “The Game.”
Among the praise that he gave Purdy, Baldinger said, “They’re not gonna find anybody better than Brock” in the draft over the next ten years.
"[The #49ers] could have drafted quarterbacks for the next 10 years at the top of the draft, given away all their draft picks to go up there [and pick someone], and they're not gonna find anybody better than Brock."@BaldyNFL on the Niners having their guy

He believes Purdy is the best-case scenario for the 49ers this season and seems to think he is here to stay.
There have been points throughout the season where Purdy has struggled, causing potential concern for his abilities.
In fact, during the 49ers’ three-game losing skid in the middle of the season, many questioned Purdy, wondering if last year’s success was just lucky.
He has proven his doubters wrong, rattling off four consecutive wins, including their recent convincing victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Purdy’s stock continues to rise, and he is now mentioned in the MVP conversation.
Fans will be interested to see if Purdy can keep up these production levels or if he is due for another cold streak.
The 49ers appear content to ride with Purdy through the good times and bad, an indication that they have found their franchise star, at least, for now.
