The Las Vegas Raiders kicked off the Antonio Pierce era in the best way possible.
The team’s offense was finally firing on all cylinders, dominating the New York Giants en route to a 30-6 win.
Rookie QB Aidan O’Connell was efficient with 209 yards passing on 16-25, while Josh Jacobs was at his best with 26 carries for 98 yards and a couple of scores.
However, as encouraging as that win was, diehard New York Jets fan — and NFL analyst — Craig Carton believes they just don’t stand a chance to win their next game.
In the latest edition of The Carton Show, he claimed that his Jets are ‘a lock’ to beat the Raiders, simply because they just cannot score on that defense.
"The Jets are going to beat the Raiders. That's a lock. Final score might be 6-0, but the Raiders offense cannot score against this defense."

Carton admitted that the final score of the game could be 6-0 and added that the Jets are just so hard to watch right now, but he still believes they have the second-best defense in the league besides only the Cleveland Browns, which is why he’s fully confident in their ability to get the job done.
The Los Angeles Chargers just snapped the Jets’ three-game winning streak, with their defensive line putting a lot of pressure on Zach Wilson.
Wilson fumbled three times and was sacked a whopping 8 times, and that offensive line could have plenty of trouble against the likes of Maxx Crosby next week as well.
Still, that elite defense will always give them a chance to win, and the Raiders’ rookie QB could be in for a tough time come Sunday.
