The Cleveland Browns made a franchise-altering move when they signed Deshaun Watson to a massive contract.
However, whether it’s due to lingering injuries or the fact that he didn’t play for several months due to suspension, Watson hasn’t played as well as anticipated.
He looked particularly poor in the Browns’ season opener this week, throwing for 169 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.
This wasn’t an ideal situation for anyone involved, and many people are now starting to criticize Watson more heavily.
Chase Daniel made a bold prediction about Watson, as he recently called out on X.
Daniel indicated that Watson will “end up as another name on the viral Browns jersey.”

The jersey Daniel refers to is a regular jersey, except it has taped-on names and numbers of all the quarterbacks the Browns have had in the last 20 years.
This organization has struggled to hold down a solid starter for the better part of two decades, which has been among the biggest frustrations for the fanbase.
Watson was supposed to be the knight in shining armor for this team, someone to take them out of the muck and into a competitor.
To this point, however, he’s been something of a goat, and not the good kind.
