The New York Jets have made some big moves in the offseason, obviously headlined by the acquisition of Aaron Rodgers.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton doesn’t want to hear any excuses from the team going forward.
In fact, he went as far as to hilariously say that he’ll ask for HC Robert Saleh to be fired if the team doesn’t win the Super Bowl, although he admitted that those could be some unrealistic expectations.

While Saleh’s job shouldn’t be in jeopardy, regardless of what goes down in New York, it’s safe to say that the Jets should be thinking of a Super Bowl right now.
Otherwise, why would they make a trade for a guy that may be out of the league two years from now?
Rodgers has never shied away from the rumors about his future and when he plans to walk away from the game, so the Jets know he’s not going to be around for long.
Moreover, they do have a team that’s deep and talented enough to at least consider making it to the big game.
They have one of the best, most dominant defensive units in the league, and Rodgers has an elite set of weapons on the offense as well.
Getting past other powerhouses in the AFC such as the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, and obviously Kansas City Chiefs will be complicated.
But the Jets need to aim high, and they have to love their chances of going toe-to-toe against every team in the league right now.
