The Baltimore Ravens finally decided to turn their offense around.
Greg Roman had built arguably the strongest running game in the league, but it became painfully evident that they needed to be more versatile and balanced to find success in the postseason.
That’s why former NFL player Andrew Hawkins believes we’ll see the best version of Lamar Jackson yet in 2023, as he’s going to have a new offense that’s tailor-made for his skills.

Hawkins predicts that Jackson will be even better than he was during his MVP season, as he won’t have to do everything anymore and will also have some solid weapons in the passing game.
Jackson has often excelled in the regular season, but the biggest knocks on him have been his lack of postseason success, his proneness to get hurt, and not being a good-enough passer.
He proved last season that he was much improved in that latter regard, yet he didn’t have another reliable weapon outside of Mark Andrews.
That’s no longer the case with Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, and a new offensive coordinator in town, not to mention the fact that he’s had more than enough time to heal and get back to full strength before the start of the season.
The Ravens made a huge financial investment to keep Jackson in town for years to come after months worth of drama, and now it’ll be up to him to prove that he was worthy of that much money.
