The New York Jets just got the full Aaron Rodgers experience.
He wasn’t able to play much last season, and it was an emotional roller coaster for the fans and the organization.
Then, a report stated that he was the one calling all the shots behind closed doors, and he did make some interesting comments throughout the course of the year.
Now, it’s been revealed that he’s on Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s shortlist as his running mate for the upcoming election.
That’s why NFL analyst — and bona fide Jets fan — Craig Carton took some time on his show to crack some jokes about it, stating that Rodgers is going to be the next MVP, Comeback Player of the Year, Super Bowl champion, and vice president of the United States of America next season.
“My quarterback is not only gonna be the Comeback Player of the Year AND the MVP AND the Super Bowl champion, but he’s also going to be the Vice President of the United States of America,” Carton said.

He also thinks the Jets weren’t unaware of Rodgers’ potential political endeavor with RFK Jr, and that they may have found out just like everybody else.
Truth be told, this is right on brand with Rodgers, who has built his own political persona with his comments over the past three years or so.
His stance on vaccination and some conspiracy theories have been as debated as they’ve been polarizing, and while some have mocked him and tried to take him down or discredit him, he does have a big following.
Whether it’s big enough to actually help an independent candidate win an election is highly unlikely, but hey, he could still fulfill most of Carton’s predictions.
