The Washington Commanders are in for some major changes.
They are under new ownership, and their roster has undergone significant turnover as of late.
With this in mind, Peter Schrager recently highlighted his excitement for this organization on Good Morning Football.
“This is an organization and team that they [Commanders fans] can be proud of,” Schrager said.
"It's a new day in Washington for @Commanders fans. This is an organization and team they can be proud of. It's been sometime since there hasn't been a 'yeah, but' when talking about their squad. That day is now, and they're allowed to enjoy this moment." @Pschrags pic.twitter.com/Yvf6as20iW

The Commanders will answer a lot of questions about their team this season, as they look to make a massive leap in production.
After finishing the season with an 8-8-1 record last year, the Commanders are ready to make it back to the playoffs.
Schrager believes in this team, and that they’ll have increased motivation with a new owner.
The Commanders have faced significant public scrutiny over the past several months, largely due to their former owner Dan Snyder.
He is still being investigated, which wrapped up most of the team’s media coverage last season.
With that no longer hanging over their heads, the Commanders can play freely, hoping to make a splash in the NFC East.
This division sent three representatives to the playoffs last year.
Can the Commanders work their way into a playoff spot this season?
The Sam Howell era has officially begun for the Commanders, and many around the organization have expressed their faith in him.
Howell played well at North Carolina, but he hasn’t had much NFL experience.
If he’s able to figure it out, achieving great chemistry with his new teammates, just how high is the ceiling for this team?
