The Miami Dolphins are coming off a promising season.
Mike McDaniel and Tyreek Hill helped bring their offense back to life, and they had one of the most explosive passing games in the league.
That’s why Tua Tagovailoa feels quite confident about their chances ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Recently, the Alabama product claimed that the Dolphins are legit Super Bowl contenders, but NFL analyst Craig Carton isn’t so sure about that.
Carton went on record on his show to call Tua ‘the worst deep passer in the NFL,’ citing that that stat of him being the most accurate quarterback in deep passes is fake.

He explained that Tua had gotten all the credit despite underthrowing his receivers by 30 yards, praising them for being good enough to be able to make an adjustment and come back to get that football.
He believes the eye test is sometimes more important than the actual stats, doubling down on his take by saying that the Dolphins aren’t that big of a contender.
Tua has drawn mixed reviews since he took over the starting job in the league, with most people doubting his ability to lead the team to success.
Nonetheless, he did post MVP-caliber numbers at some point last season, and the team struggled to move the chains when he wasn’t on the field.
Whatever the case, the jury is still out on him, and the upcoming campaign could be a make-or-break season for him, as he might even silence his critics once and for all, or fuel the debate about whether the Dolphins should go after another QB.
