The Minnesota Vikings could have a big quarterback problem soon.
Kirk Cousins is expected to be one of the most sought-after players in the offseason, especially now that Russell Wilson is off the table.
Cousins was playing at an MVP-caliber level before suffering a season-ending injury, and there’s a chance he won’t be able to take the field to start the season.
Also, he’s 35 years old and has a history of shortcomings in primetime and against winning teams, but he’s still the best choice they could have right now.
That’s why former NFL WR Greg Jennings believes the Vikings cannot allow him to leave.
He thinks someone is going to give him as much money as he wants, so they must make sure to break the bank and make things work with him.
Talking on The Carton Show, Jennings stated that Cousins has already proved that he can make it work with their offense, not to mention his rapport with Justin Jefferson.
“If you’re the Minnesota Vikings…pay Kirk Cousins whatever he’s asking for and just live with it,” Jennings said.

He downplayed the concerns about his major injury because he’s never been a mobile quarterback or someone who’s going to extend plays with his feet.
Truth be told, Cousins could put the Vikings in a tough spot here.
He’s not going to play for much longer, and he’s going to have a tough time justifying the steep salary he will get.
On the other hand, however, they don’t have much of a choice, and with Russell Wilson and Baker Mayfield already signed, he’s the best they can do right now.
