The Carolina Panthers ended up losing to the Chicago Bears in primetime by a score of 16-13.
This was seen as a winnable game heading into the night for the Panthers, who had only won one contest before this one.
Many factors impacted the Panthers’ odds of winning this game, including a less-than-ideal performance from Bryce Young.
In an appearance on “The Carton Show,” Will Colon said this was “Bryce Young’s worst game” to date.

Young finished the game with a stat line of 21-38 through the air, only gaining 185 passing yards.
This was his second-lowest completion percentage of the season, and his second game without a touchdown pass.
For a player who was taken No. 1 overall in this year’s draft, Young’s performance left something to be desired, at least in Colon’s eyes.
The Bears are commonly viewed as a beatable team, especially with Tyson Bagent at the helm.
Young wasn’t able to get it done, causing analysts like Colon to question the Panthers’ decision to draft him.
His rookie counterpart, C.J. Stroud has acclimated to the league quickly, which could be a reason for increased pressure and criticism of Young.
To Young’s credit, sometimes rookie quarterbacks take more time than others to develop.
Trevor Lawrence also was a No. 1 overall quarterback, but he certainly didn’t look like it in his first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Young has time to get better, to get used to playing at the NFL level.
Can the Panthers figure out the best players and schemes to help him get where they want him to be?
