With the Baltimore Ravens seemingly unable to see eye-to-eye with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson on a contract extension, and a trade request being given as a result, the 2023 NFL season looked like it would be a disaster for the team.
Great teams in the NFL almost always are successful because of the talent they have under center, and the Ravens have been no different over the years, with Jackson leading the way for the franchise.
However, that all looked like it was about to change with the one-time NFL MVP letting it be known publicly that he wanted out unless a new contract could be agreed upon.
Although all signs pointed toward disaster, the Ravens were ultimately able to get Jackson to sign on the dotted line, and now Baltimore has been thrust back into the Super Bowl title contender spotlight as a result of the superstar’s return and moves made by the team in the offseason.
Will Brinson of CBS Sports recently made an appearance on The Jim Rome Show and explained why he has high hopes for the Ravens in 2023.

The offense in Baltimore could be the cream of the crop in the NFL during the 2023 campaign, with Jackson more motivated than ever, joined by an also highly motivated superstar in Odell Beckham Jr.
As long as Jackson and Beckham can stay healthy along with the other weapons on the offensive side of the football, the Ravens may be the team to beat in the AFC, giving the Kansas City Chiefs a run for their money.
