All NBA fans know that Steph Curry and Nikola Jokic are two of the best basketball players alive.
In fact, it could be argued that they are two of the best basketball players of all time.
But what makes them so impressive?
Speaking on The Volume, Jason Timpf touched upon what makes both of these superstars “unstoppable.”
“When it comes to Steph Curry and Nikola Jokić, they’re the only players where no matter what you do, no matter what you throw at them, you cannot stop them in their offense from consistently generating high-quality shots,” Timpf said.

He noted that Curry will always find a way to make a shot, no matter what an opponent’s defense is throwing at him.
Because of his speed, his shooting abilities, and his brain, Curry is able to make something work, even when the odds are stacked against him.
Timpf also said that Curry has worked hard on his defensive game, despite the fact that he is often outsized in a matchup with defenders.
It’s a combination of intelligence and skill that makes Curry so unstoppable.
As for Jokic, he is another player who can overcome just about any defense.
Part of that is due to his size.
He is a big player who can push his way through many defensive plans.
But, like Curry, Jokic has a brilliant basketball mind and is able to outsmart his opponents.
Therefore, it doesn’t matter what the opposing team is trying to do, Jokic will find a way to score.
He will either use his size to get off his own shot or he will rely on his next-level floor-reading abilities to find a teammate to score instead.
These two players couldn’t be more different when it comes to their styles or size.
But they are easily two of the most efficient and dangerous athletes in the league.
