Superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers is in the twilight of his NFL career, with the four-time NFL MVP playing for a team other than the Green Bay Packers for the first time in his career and likely having only a few more years left in him playing at an elite level.
Although Rodgers has a ton of accolades, with his four MVPs likely being the most impressive, he’s really only been a successful quarterback during the regular season, as he has only one Super Bowl title to his credit during his time in the league thus far.
Now that he’s on a very talented New York Jets team, Rodgers will try to add another Vince Lombardi Trophy to his trophy case and eventually walk away from the game as one of the greatest players to ever play the position.
Nick Wright of Fox Sports believes that if Rodgers can win a title in the Big Apple, the veteran quarterback will move ahead of some of the great quarterbacks of the past that never won a title or have one on their resume, like his former teammate Brett Favre via First Things First.
"Since the Super Bowl, Aaron Rodgers is 7-9 in the playoffs. … Right now, he's in the 6-10 range. With another ring, he would permanently end the Marino, Brees, Favre discussions."

Two Super Bowl titles definitely put Rodgers in a different category, and like Wright points out, he’ll be thought of in the same light as Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, who won a Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts and one with the Denver Broncos.
Much like Manning with the Broncos, Rodgers will be under tremendous pressure during the upcoming season, with everyone expecting the Jets to be a heavyweight in the AFC with the talent on both sides of the football to win it all.
