After the first two weeks of the 2023 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys have made a legitimate case to be the best all-around team in the league, with the defense potentially being elite with star linebacker Micah Parsons leading the way.
At this point, the Cowboys could be Super Bowl contenders, meaning they might make easy work of most of their opponents the rest of the way.
If the Cowboys continue to dominate their opponents like they have during the first two weeks of the season, Dallas could mix things up a bit, namely, giving Parsons a shot on offense in a blowout situation.
Parsons is already in the running for NFL Defensive Player of the Year, but he wants to try his luck on the offensive side of the football, as he is anxious to expand his horizons, but Willie Colon of FOX Sports doesn’t think that’s a good idea, via “The Carton Show.”

With the Cowboys potentially having the best chance to be Super Bowl-bound in recent memory, it seems a bit too risky to put arguably their best player in a position to get hurt because he wants to score a touchdown.
Hopefully, for the sake of the Cowboys’ title aspirations, Mike McCarthy and company don’t take some unnecessary risks with Parsons that could cost them a chance to go the distance this season.
Currently, the NFC seems like it will come down to a classic playoff matchup between the Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, who might be the two best teams in the league.
