The Golden State Warriors shocked the world by trading for Chris Paul.
The Warriors have usually played with a pace-and-space offense, with Steve Kerr favoring chaos and motion over Paul’s slow and rather methodical style.
And while there’s no denying that a player of his caliber could adapt to almost everything that’s asked of him, he actually has to want to adapt.
That’s why sports analyst Emmanuel Acho claims to be worried about Paul’s fit with the Warriors.

Acho explained that Paul wants to be the missing piece for the Warriors and win his first NBA championship once and for all.
However, he also has an ego, and he publicly snapped when asked about whether he would want to come off the bench for the Warriors.
Per Acho, those two roles cannot coexist; he’s either the missing piece and will comply with what the team wants and needs from him, or he’ll have an ego and want to be a starter.
Truth be told, aside from injuries, that’s the only thing that could stand in his way to success in the Bay Area.
The Warriors could have one of the best — if not the best — second units in the league if Paul agrees to pull the strings of the offense there.
It would also benefit him health-wise, as he has a long history of injuries, and he’s not getting any younger.
At the end of the day, it seems like it’ll be up to him to put his ego aside.
