A few years ago, the Chicago Bulls were the talk of the NBA, with the storied franchise finally putting together a young roster that looked like it could compete for many years to come, with DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine leading the way.
Unfortunately, the dream of the Bulls returning to the spotlight in the league has quickly died, with LaVine and DeRozan not exactly an ideal match and Lonzo Ball potentially never playing another game again.
It seems as though the Bulls may have come to terms with the fact that their currently constructed roster isn’t nearly good enough to compete in the Eastern Conference, and changes or a full rebuild may need to happen.
That said, LaVine’s name has surfaced in trade rumors again, with the Bulls having a high asking price for the talented scorer, according to Bull Insider K.C. Johnson via NBA Central.

It seems it will only be a matter of time before the Bulls start selling off parts to begin a rebuilding process, with LaVine probably being the best trade piece they have in terms of getting back the most significant return.
However, it is uncertain what the trade market will be for LaVine this summer, especially after what the Washington Wizards got for star guard Bradley Beal being shipped to the Phoenix Suns.
With LaVine still playing at a high level and being relatively young at 28, there will be a market out there, but it remains to be seen if the Bulls will like the offers they get for the two-time All-Star.
