The Dallas Cowboys have been under scrutiny during the offseason given their early-round playoff exit.
Several aspects of the team have been analyzed, including owner Jerry Jones’ leadership style.
In a recent segment of “First Take” on ESPN, Chris “Mag Dog” Russo highlighted his complaints about Jones.
“This is who you want to have representing your team, the owner?” Russo asked.
"This is what's wrong with Dallas. Jerry Jones is doing … weekly interviews on radio stations in Dallas, Texas? Really? This is who you want to have representing your team, the owner? Who never played a down in the NFL?"

Russo seems to believe that Jones should spend less time in the spotlight and focus on his duties as an owner.
He points out Jones’ lack of on-field experience as a reason for trepidation.
Jones has owned the Cowboys for over 30 years.
In his tenure, the Cowboys have won the Super Bowl three times, occurring in the 1992, 1993, and 1995 seasons.
Since then, however, it’s been a drought of rings, as they haven’t made a title game appearance since.
For whatever reason, the Cowboys haven’t been able to put a title run together, even though they have one of the wealthiest owners in the sport.
Dak Prescott hasn’t been able to get it done, the defense has struggled at times, and the coaching has been inconsistent.
Russo’s complaints might be warranted, and they seem to echo the feelings of most Cowboys fans.
The Cowboys have their work cut out for them for the 2023 season.
Last year, the NFC East sent three representatives to the playoffs, and it looks to be a similarly difficult division again.
Will the Cowboys break their drought this year, at least making it to the Super Bowl?
