The Dallas Cowboys got a special kind of talent when they drafted Micah Parsons.
The Penn State product has been one of the most impactful defensive forces since he entered the league, and he just keeps getting better.
His talents were on full display during the season opener, as the Cowboys’ defense crushed the New York Giants from the very first snap of the game.
That’s why Mike Greenberg and Ryan Clark had to give him his flowers, and they went as far as to compare him with legendary defender Lawrence Taylor.
In the latest edition of ESPN’s Get Up, Greenberg stated that he doesn’t like comparing players, especially to a guy like Taylor, but that dominance makes it an uncanny resemblance.
"When you watch [Micah Parsons] play … he reminds you of Lawrence Taylor."

As for Clark, he talked about how Parsons’ mindset is similar to Taylor’s, as he recently stated that he wants to be considered the greatest defensive player of all time.
Parsons finished the game with two tackles, one assist, and one sack, but his impact goes way beyond the stat sheet.
His energy is contagious, and even though he’s a young player still making a name for himself in the league, he’s already embraced his role as a leader and demands nothing but greatness from himself and everybody around him.
On top of that, the fact that he can line up almost anywhere gives Dan Quinn the ultimate Swiss Army knife to work with, as opposing teams never know what to prepare for.
If you thought Nick Bosa got a lot of money, wait until Parson’s payday is due.
