Since he made it to the NFL, scouts and fans have been mesmerized by Jameis Winston.
First, it was because of his athleticism and impressive talents.
Then, it was because you never knew what to expect when he was on the field.
Of course, that’s not always positive.
Winston’s volatility eventually cost him his starting job.
That’s why NFL analyst Nick Kostos believes he’s a true unicorn.
Talking on the Maggie and Perloff show, Kostos called him a generational player but not in the classic sense.

He claimed that Winston is the kind of player who could lead a team to a win against any opponent or lead his team to disaster with no in-betweens.
You never know what version of Jameis Winston you will get, sometimes even on consecutive drives.
That was on full display in the loss to the Denver Broncos, perhaps the most Jameis Winston game of all time.
He threw for 497 passing yards and four touchdowns, but he also had three interceptions, two of which were returned for points.
From a talent standpoint, there’s absolutely no doubt that Jameis Winston gives the Cleveland Browns the best chance to win.
Still, it takes way more than just talent to win football games.
Winston is a ten-year veteran, and he’s been playing football all his life.
At this point in his career, if he hasn’t learned from his mistakes and changed his tendencies and turnover proneness, he’s not very likely to do it.
