The Buffalo Bills fell to the New York Jets in a tumultuous Monday Night Football game, starting their season with a loss.
While there were many factors to play into this loss, many blame Josh Allen’s mistakes as a primary culprit.
Booger McFarland was quick to call out Allen in a postgame tweet.
He called Allen an “alien as an athlete,” saying it “shouldn’t absolve him from being a turnover machine.”
Just because Josh Allen is an alien as an athlete. That shouldn’t absolve him from being a turnover machine. He leads the league in turnovers since entering the NFL Bills won’t win a Super Bowl with him until he learns how to manage a game

As McFarland mentions, Allen has led the league in turnovers since he made his debut.
Allen threw three picks in this game, which ended up being the difference in the outcome.
McFarland isn’t the only analyst asking questions about Allen’s turnover issues, which are likely slated to continue for the next few weeks.
While Allen has played well early on in his NFL career, the Bills haven’t made it to the Super Bowl in his tenure.
McFarland believes the Bills “won’t win a Super Bowl with him until he learns how to manage a game.”
Thankfully, the Bills have two easier games on their schedule, hoping Allen resolves this issue.
They take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2, and the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
By winning both of these games, Allen and the Bills can prove to their doubters that they are worthy of a top spot in the AFC.
If they lose one of these matchups, especially if Allen struggles, more questions will be asked.
After one game, it’s tough to know how a season will shake out.
