The 2024 season did not go as planned for the Dallas Cowboys.
Even though they had a frustrating Wild Card playoff loss in 2023, there was a belief that they would bounce back and that this team had plenty of talent to go on a deep playoff run for the first time in a few decades.
However, that didn’t end up happening, and due to many injuries to key players, along with some organizational issues, the Cowboys missed the playoffs entirely with a 7-10 record.
The team has made a few moves to hopefully help their chances in 2025, including starting over with a new coach.
A coaching change could certainly change the tides, but Chris Canty believes the team should still do more, as he mentioned in a recent appearance of “Unsportsmanlike” on ESPN.

Canty is under the impression that Micah Parsons isn’t good for the locker room and that the Cowboys would be better off cutting ties with him to get a large sum of players and picks in return.
When healthy, Parsons has been one of the best defensive players in the league, but he missed four games in 2024 due to injuries.
Those injuries aren’t said to be lasting, but if his locker room presence is as poor as Canty makes it out to be, it might be time for the team to move on from their star linebacker.
