The San Francisco 49ers have everything they need to win a championship.
Then again, that has been the case for quite a while now, yet they can’t seem to get over the hump.
Unfortunately for the fan base, this might not be their year, either.
At least, that’s how Kyle Long feels.
Talking on NFL on CBS, Long wondered how much juice the Niners could have left and how many more runs they could put together before finally breaking things up.

Truth be told, we could be getting very close to that.
The Niners do have a plethora of talent on both sides of the field, but they will eventually have to pay Brock Purdy a lot of money, and that could lead to several players finding another team.
More than that, Kyle Shanahan is clearly a very good coach and has a savvy offensive mind, but he’s also got a long history of shortcomings and blown games, so it might reach a point in which the franchise will finally hold him accountable for that.
One could argue that he blew their chances of winning the Super Bowl last season.
Of course, it’s hard to put your money against a team with that kind of talent.
On paper, the Niners should continue to be one of the teams to beat not only in the NFC but in the entire league, but potential has never won a Super Bowl or even a single football game.
