It’s been a tough offseason for the Dallas Cowboys and their fans.
Most people assumed they would part ways with Mike McCarthy, as Jerry Jones claimed that his job would be assessed on a game-to-game basis in the playoffs, and they went one-and-done with one of the worst losses in franchise history.
Jones later vowed to go all-in on the offseason, but they failed to retain some key players, didn’t make any big-time signings or trades, and didn’t even get their stars to sign contract extensions.
That’s why sports analyst Evan Cohen believes this is going to be a complete waste of a season for them.
“I think this is just gonna be a complete waste of a season for the Dallas Cowboys,” Cohen said.

Per Cohen, they will have an in-between season in which they will be good but just not good enough.
Truth be told, this just feels like a disservice to this organization.
Prescott has failed to prove that he can lead a team to the mountaintop over and over, which is why it’s easy to understand why someone would be hesitant to give him a big contract.
Then again, they did have a Super Bowl-caliber roster and could’ve made some moves, such as going after Derrick Henry or a true workhorse running back.
Some believe Jones is setting Prescott and his team up for failure for whatever reason, and 2024 might not be fun for Cowboys Nation.
